Call for abstracts
The Sri Lanka Society of Nephrology (SLSON) invites you to submit abstracts for the upcoming Annual Academic Sessions scheduled to be held from 24th to 25th November 2026.
Dear friends and colleagues,
I am honored to assume the position of President of the Sri Lanka Society of Nephrology (SLSON) for the year 2026.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the past Presidents and Council members for their unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions, which have strengthened our Society and advanced nephrology services in Sri Lanka. I also wish to thank the newly elected Council for their commitment and enthusiasm in continuing this important work.
Our theme for the year, “Kidney Health for All: Early Action, Lasting Impact,” reflects our strong commitment to promoting early detection, timely intervention, and sustained management of kidney disease. This year, we place special emphasis on the prevention and optimal management of chronic kidney disease , particularly among patients with diabetes mellitus and hypertension , in alignment with the World Kidney Day focus in Sri Lanka.
