Sri Lanka Society of Nephrology (SLSON) is the official organization representing the nephrologists of Sri Lanka.
Our Objectives:
1. Achieve and maintain the highest standards of clinical practice of Nephrology in the country.
2. Advance the knowledge of, and promote research in Nephrology
3. Promote and advise on training and education of doctors, nurses and technicians in Nephrology.
4. Promote fellowship among those associated with the specialty.
5. Foster collaboration with international and other regional societies interested in Nephrology and related subjects.
6. Create awareness of the magnitude of the problem of kidney diseases; it's national, economic and social ramifications, and preventive strategies among the public and the government policy makers.
